Michael Sheldon

Michael Sheldon worked at Frank Russell Company from 1993 to 1999, writing marketing materials and helping George Russell draft articles and client communications.

He co-founded XMedia Communications in 1999 to provide marketing copywriting, creative content and strategy to a diverse clientele that ranges from startups to global corporations in a variety of industries. Recent projects include a strategic marketing campaign for Starbucks, materials promoting the American Express retirement plan, and a message platform and core sales presentation for SySys Corporation—a leader in content and data management technology.

He is currently at work on a new book on business writing, entitled Business Is Good: How BIG Writing Can Advance Your Career and Make Any Organization More Productive. When left to his own devices, Michael spends his time photographing, fly-fishing, reading history and detective stories, and “researching” fine wines. He earned his B.A. at Yale College and his M.A. at the University of Virginia.
